Three wars in 70 years. When the British left the subcontinent in 1947, the regions of Kashmir and Jammu were disputed between the newly created India and Pakistan. To date, no solution has been found between the two countries, resulting in continued high levels of militarization and insecurity in Kashmir and Jammu.
The situation in Mali is one of the most challenging issue that the international community is facing today. Many actors are intervening to avoid any long-lasting implementation of terrorist groups in the greater Sahel region. Alongside counter-terrorism efforts, the quasi-permanent political instability of the country needs also to be adressed in order to reaffirm State presence and authority on all the territory, to protect local populations and communities. This poster analysis aims to give the reader a brief overview of the situation.
