Human Rights Day 2018

Today we are celebrating the International Human Rights Day (10/12/2018) and the 70thAnniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights!

To commemorate the day of 1948 when the United Nations General Assembly adopted this universal document after three years of negotiation, CD4Peace wants to stress the relevance of Human Rights in our daily lives.

In a world where the right of every human being to benefit from his fundamental human rights is still not a reality, we must always honor our duty to protect and promote human rights for all without discrimination.

The daily violations committed around the world remind us that Human Rights are never fully acquired, and that we must constantly fight to enforce them.

However, to defend our rights we need first and foremost to know and understand them. In this regard, CD4Peace wants to continue its fight for constructive dialogue, in order to raise awareness to the rights of all human beings to enjoy their freedom without discrimination based on their gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, race or religion. In accordance with these principles, CD4Peace also wishes to promote the sustainable development of individuals and societies.

So please, never stop to #standup4humanrights !!
