“The Universal Declaration has helped countless people gain greater freedoms and equality” –Zeid Raad Al Hussein (former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights)
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a revolutionary document that was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly (1948) which reinforces all international human rights law and ensures that all people can gain freedom, equality and dignity.
In 2018, the UDHR celebrated its 70thanniversary and started off the celebration with a website that we all have the access to. This website was made for the public so it could have a better idea about the UDHR’s actions and events.
